Escape Route • Beyond Hua Hin in Bang Saphan

Day 1

Morning
Baan Krood Beach
The quiet beach at Baan Krood may not seem like much to those accustomed to the busy Hua Hin shorelines, but for those looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be. Along the Baan Krood beach also lie a number of grub shacks, from seafood skewers to light meals so foodies will never be disappointed here.

Afternoon A Trip to Khao Thong Chai
Khao Thong Chai is the monumental landmark in the area of Baan Krood. The temple can be seen atop the mountain from anywhere in the district. Take a trip up this “Symbol of Prachuab Khriri Khan” and pay respect to the beautiful Phramaha Chedi Kao Yod pagoda, a gift from Prachuab Khiri Khan people to honor the Golden Jubilee of His Majesty the King.

Koh Thalu Island

Day 3

Morning
Last Dip in Koh Thalu sea
Take a morning moment to say goodbye to the clear waters of Koh Thalu. Have a little morning picnic on the beach or take the trusty goggles down for the last look at the magnificent underwater life before heading back to the mainland.

Lunch Dining @ OX Restaurant
Before heading back to the busy Hua Hin, drop by for lunch at the breezy OX restaurant for some fresh seafood with a great view of the peaceful Pranburi beach. Après meal, refresh yourself with a cup of traditional Thai coffee from the nearby coffee shack to ready yourself for a long trip.

Day 2

Morning
Koh Thalu Island
Take a speedboat to this cluster of islands just off Bang Saphan shore and you will find yourself in a true paradise. Since the islands are privately owned, peaceful enjoyment of the islands is guaranteed. The main island, Koh Thalu, is known for its clear blue waters where lively marine life awaits for snorkelers to visit.

Lunch
Dining at Koh Thalu Island Resort
Visit the lone resort on the island for some authentic fisherman treats. The resort may not be as elaborate as ones found on the mainland but their selections of Thai and seafood menu are equally delectable.

Afternoon Koh Sung and Koh Singha
Explore the rest of the clusters at Koh Sung and Koh Singha. Avid divers will find themselves at home here, as under the surface lives a preserved marine life and coral reefs. For swimmers, a snorkeling session is more than enough to get a glimpse into this pristine blue world.
