Central Region

Bangkok and the nearby provinces surround the base of the Chao Phraya River delta as it flows into the Gulf of Thailand. In a snapshot this region illustrates the stark differences between modern-day consumer-culture Thailand and the traditional agrarian society of yesteryear. The region is an interesting choice to take a golf tour with convenience and all other urban attractions nearby in the metropolis with its shopping.

Kaeng Krachan Country Club & Resort
(27 Holes Par 72/36, 7,330/3,600 yards)
Kaeng Krachan Country Club has operated since 1994.
The first 18 holes (Lake and Valley) require accuracy to
avoid losing balls amongst the many trees and bamboo
forest which line the fairways. The fairways are beautiful to
play off and the greens can be tricky even though not
appearing to have a lot of movement in them.

Description & Signature hole: The 10th 381 yards Par
4 on the Lake Course can be a beast. There is a stream
across the fairway just at the point most people would
hit a drive, so 5 wood or 3 iron off the tee is sensible.
The green is narrow in the neck and both sides are
protected by bunkers, the one on the right side being
large and deep enough to cause some strife.
