Central Region

Bangkok and the nearby provinces surround the base of the Chao Phraya River delta as it flows into the Gulf of Thailand. In a snapshot this region illustrates the stark differences between modern-day consumer-culture Thailand and the traditional agrarian society of yesteryear. The region is an interesting choice to take a golf tour with convenience and all other urban attractions nearby in the metropolis with its shopping.

Only really good players are likely to play to their best

Hole 12 Par 5 : This could be one of the most photo-
graphed holes in all of golf. A wide creek splits this hole
into a double fairway. The conservative player will opt
to hit their tee shot down the left fairway, lay up with
a long iron or fairway wood, then pitch over the creek
to the green. The golfer who needs a birdie or an eagle
will hit the fairway to the right, trying to avoid the creek
and large low maintenance bunker. The green opens up
from this angle so that a fairway wood or long iron could
be hit into the green for a two putt birdie, or the rare
one putt eagle.
