If the intense heat is getting to you, have a brew for cheap on the street side and watch the colorful collage of patrons to this area pass by.

Afterhours • Silom Soi 4 - Tapas
Conclude your night with a magnificent margarita at this trendy club, where the beats keep bumping till the early morning. Like the area in which it is located, Tapas has an interesting range of clientele, from the dreadlocked backpacker to the suit-clad businessman. The music here can be described as progressive house, and many visit for this deluge of sounds complemented by a bongo-banging drummer.

Day 2

Travel up to this posh restaurant with unparalleled panoramic views of the city and enjoy a distinct blend of gastronomy in style. Perched on the 25th floor, Long Table offers modern fine dining with an attitude. Step out on the large deck and soak up Bangkok’s seemingly never ending skyline. The food here is equally as impressive as the view, with a contemporary take on traditional Thai favorites.

Afterhours • Scratch Dog @ the Windsor Suites Hotel
If you’re still coherent enough to bust a move, then head to Scratch Dog in the basement of the Windsor Suites Hotel. This is where the true night crawlers flock long after other clubs shutdown. Smoke fills the air and eardrum-busting hip-hop fills your head at this all-night club, where the DJs keep spinning till sunrise.

After last night, you’re going to need some comfort food, and To Die For is where you’ll get your fill. The dishes here use the freshest and best ingredients with the right touch, and the skillfully prepared, nearly artistic creations will get your taste buds dancing. Try the Grilled juicy strip loin steak served with herb salad and warm coarse grain mustard dressing to cure that hangover.

Party • Escobar - Nunglen
Once your protein count has returned to normal, it’s time to hit the town again at this bastion of hi-so folk. It’s not unusual to see exotic supercars parked out-front, but don’t be scared off, as the patrons are typically cordial. Escobar, on the right side of the complex, plays home to electronic and hip-hop beats, while the adjacent and ultra-packed Nunglen, serves up some live Thai music.

Late Night • Grub at Sukhumvit Soi 38
It’s time to soak up some of that alcohol and call it a night at Soi 38, a well-known food street located next to the Thong Lor Skytrain station. Sample some Thai favorites, like chicken rice, wonton noodle soup, and the renowned Pad Thai. Don’t be afraid to venture a bit deeper into the street, as the real culinary gems are often overlooked.
