An authentic Vietnamese kitchen with a modern twist, Dao Vien is the first Vietnamese restaurant to have an open kitchen where customers can view the chefs preparing all-time favorite dishes such as Pho, Kung Pan Oai (shrimp cake wrapped around sugarcane) and fresh spring rolls. Despite being a new restaurant, Dao Vien is particular about the original recipe, hence the Pho noodle is soaked overnight before it is used for cooking, and shrimp for Kung Pan Oai is mashed instead of being grinded in a food processor to maximize the flavor.
